Jay presented the “Magna Carta Holy Grail” album cover in The Salisbury Cathedral in Britain where one of the original documents of the 1215 Magna Carta is on display. Actually, a photo surfaced of the original Magna Carta document sitting right next to Jay-Z’s album cover. The album artwork will remain on display next to the original document until the end of July.
Many say Jay is bringing heavy handed opulence and culture back to album art. We say Jay-Z is just doing what he does best; running the music industry and making everyone follow his example.
